Maritime Deniz İnşaat has successfully completed the marine construction work as part of the Tersane İstanbul project, located on the historic shores of the Golden Horn in Istanbul.
The project site is located in Tersane Istanbul, a shipyard area whose history dates back to 1455 and is recognized as one of the world’s oldest shipyard districts. Constructing modern marine infrastructure in such a historically significant and geotechnically complex area required striking a careful balance between engineering precision and the preservation of cultural heritage.
As part of the project, the construction of the pipe-pile quay wall system was successfully carried out; the driving of steel pipe piles, Pile Dynamic Tests, and the fabrication of the reinforced concrete superstructure were completed in accordance with the planned quality and safety standards.
Despite challenging ground conditions characterized by deep layers of soft clay, the project was successfully completed through advanced engineering solutions and meticulous on-site execution. This project once again demonstrates Maritime Deniz İnşaat’s expertise in delivering technically complex marine structures safely, with high quality, and on time.
